Introduction to Restorative Practices

      We are now offering this online workshop in two 4-hour sessions from 9:00am-1:00pm Pacific time. Workshop dates are posted on our calendar. From day one, you will learn a range of strategies you can use every day and how to set high expectations while being supportive. Practice how to provide direct feedback and how to ask questions that foster accountability. Access the most effective methods to resolve common conflicts​.

​      During our second session, we will model and instruct attendees how to facilitate restorative circles. Circles are an essential process for building social capital, resolving social problems and responding when harm occurs. Implementing circles creates and fosters a positive learning environment. You will learn by participating in circles with other attendees, taking turns to learn how to facilitate. By the end of the 8 hour training, you will be prepared to return to your setting and run your first circle!
